Warmheart padded over the smooth moss pebbles. She could hear the rushing river. Scenting the fresh air she could smell a faint smell of a kittypelt. Warmheart flicked her ears in dismisal, "Probly just a lost kittypet on her way home. " she thought and padded swiftly on. She came to the rushing water and looked at her reflection. Her well groomed fur looked beautiful. Suddenly a silver flicker in the water caught her attention. Shaking furiosly, she put her mind on hunting for her clan. She crouched low, not letting her shadow loom oner the water. A fish flickered only a whisker away. Warmheart scooped her hooked white claw into the shimmering water. She purred with satisfaction as she felt the slippery fish in her claws. Warmheart thrust the silver fish onto the pebbled bank. She pounced, killing it with a fierce blow of her paw. She licked her paw, feeling pride go threw her fur. Then she streamed back over to the water and crouched, looking for another silver fish. "Bluestar will be sooo proud!"she thought happily.
